What we do:

The Facilities Site Manager is responsible for managing the assigned facility(s) in accordance with the requirements of all local, state, and federal regulations. The position plans and oversees all building operations, safety, small to large construction and renovation projects, and managing fringe benefits along with other building amenities. This position is a key contributor in strategically and appropriately evaluating space, services, costs, and risks.

What you can do:

  • Manage a facilities team in alignment with the Facilities Operations Manager in addition to external vendors
  • Assist Facilities Management in creating a long-term facility strategy – be a key contributor
  • Assist Facilities Management towards planning and overseeing large construction and renovation projects according to current and future needs
  • Work with Engineering teams to craft and build out facilities
  • Work Closely with the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Manage the onsite food & beverage program
  • Ability to accurately forecast department spend for budget cycles
  • Collaborate closely with building management where and when appropriate
  • Oversee all building functions including day-to-day maintenance
  • Pro-actively recommending any upgrades, changes, and improvements to our facilities and services
  • Control activities such as parking, building security, waste disposal, service contracts, vendor services, etc
  • Manage other fringe benefits such as game rooms, social events, team building offsite events, massage program, etc. that brings value and helps with attrition
  • Hire and train staff as needed to build organization under this position
  • Handle day-to-day operations until the Facilities team is hired
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Ensure departmental compliance with all Supernal Safety programs
  • Execute any safety-related responsibilities designated by the Supernal Chief Safety Office
  • Ensure appropriate coordination with the Chief Safety Office

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 8-10 years in facilities management (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Experience in an R&D environment with equipment, high voltage, hazardous chemicals and processes, waste management, etc
  • Experience in space planning, managing onsite space, and various types of employee-related services such as snacks, beverages, lunches, etc
  • Experience in new facility build-outs and expansions working with architects, GCs, and other related subs
  • Experience in managing onsite vendors
  • Skilled in facilities and property management
  • Strong Leadership and relationship building skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent internal and external customer services
  • Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices
  • Knowledge of Excel and strong ability to analyze data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Self-motivated and growth-orientated personality

You may also be able to contribute:

  • Experience working in EVTOL preferred
