Events Manager

Supernal is at the forefront of creating emerging mobility solutions that will foster the development of human-centered cities. We are designing a completely new electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft tailored to the mobility needs of future cities. This allows passengers a seamless intermodal journey that safely transports them to their final destination. What we do:

The Events Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of all external events for the Communications & Brand team. This position is directly responsible for representing the company brand through experiential marketing efforts that deliver tangible business results. They will work cross-functionally across commercial, engineering and core operations to ensure seamless execution of all projects.

What you can do:

  • Serves as the event lead for all outside events, including major air shows and auto shows
  • Coordinates all planning activities associated with external events, including budget development, vendor selection, site selection, experiential content creation and on-site management
  • Provides strategic insight on which events the company should attend, and the level of investment required to successfully exhibit
  • Organizes multi-year calendars and facilitate planning exercises to assist the company in preparation for large-scale events
  • Collaborates with Communications & Brand team members to ensure event outputs are successfully promoted across other marketing channels
  • Organizes regular planning and production meetings with internal and external partners
  • Report results to senior management and identify meaningful KPIs to track event efficacy relative to overarching business objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field
  • A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience developing corporate or brand events in-house or at an agency in support of a major brand (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Project or program management experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct supervisor authority
  • Strong understanding of aviation/aerospace products with 5+ year development timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to resolve problems in a functional manner
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Self-motivation and forward-thinking personality
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Other duties as assigned 

You may also be able to contribute:

  • Project management certifications a plus
  • Aviation and aerospace industry experience desired
