Product Marketing Specialist

Supernal is at the forefront of creating emerging mobility solutions that will foster the development of human-centered cities. We are designing a completely new electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft tailored to the mobility needs of future cities. This allows passengers a seamless intermodal journey that safely transports them to their final destination. What we do:

The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for the marketing and sales support of Supernal’s electric air vehicles. This position will represent the company to commercial air operators and other key collaborators to enhance Product Strategy and Business Development efforts. They will work cross-functionally across commercial and engineering teams to help define our product marketing strategy. As a new form of transportation, there is a need for education around AAM use cases and benefits. The Product Marketing Specialist will be responsible for broader thought leadership efforts that can drive top of funnel engagement during the pre-launch stage of the company.

What you can do:

• Serve as the product marketing lead across 1:1, events and digital marketing channels
• Work across Product Strategy, Business Development, Engineering and other functions to develop clear messaging around product features and their associated benefits
• Develop customer personas to inform product messaging and engagement strategies
• Collaborate with Business Development to create a sales roadmap and marketing funnel for each customer persona
• Establish a framework for testing and evaluation of product messaging and engagement strategies to drive an efficient marketing funnel
• Develop sales materials and presentations to support 1:1 engagements with key customers
• Coordinate blog posts or related media to drive industry thought leadership and deeper understanding of Supernal’s technology and solutions
• Benchmark product marketing efforts relative to industry competitors and other transportation or mobility companies
• Provide strategic insight on new marketing channels that the brand should activate, and the level of investment required to successfully reach and engage customers
• Support the ongoing development of go-to-market plans in lead markets
• Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in product marketing (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
• Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct supervisor authority
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite

You may also be able to contribute:

• Aviation and aerospace proven experience desired
• Project or program management certification desired
